Teddy L. Flynt

 

A native and lifelong resident of Magoffin County, Kentucky. After discharge from the US Army in July 1970 as a Specialist in Field Artillery. He attended Morehead State University where he graduated with honors in May of 1973 having obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He attended college with the assistance of the GI bill for education and summer employment as a carpenter through the Ashland Kentucky Carpenter and Millwright Union. He attended law school at the University of Louisville where he obtained his JD degree in May of 1976, and began practicing law in Salyersville, Kentucky, after obtaining his license in October of 1976. He served as Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for three years in Knott and Magoffin Counties, during which he tried numerous felony cases, including rape and murder. He was elected to two consecutive terms as Magoffin County Attorney from 1981 through 1989. After which he has engaged in the practice of law with offices at various locations including Winchester, Lexington and Mt. Sterling, with continuous offices in Salyersville, Stanton and Lexington where he is a member of the local bar associations as well as the Johnson County Bar Association. In recent years he has concentrated his law practice in the areas of Personal Injury, slip and falls, social security claims, work place injuries, wrongful termination and harassment. He is an experienced trial attorney having prosecuted thousands of personal injury cases and conducted numerous jury trials in almost every county in Eastern and Central Kentucky.

L. DUSTIN RIDDLE  - Associate

 

A native of Hazard, Kentucky, Dustin currently resides in Lexington and practices law throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He attended law school at Salmon P. Chase College of Law-NKU, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2008 graduating with a concentration in Employment and Labor Law. He was a member of the National Trial team and was a regional finalist in the National Trial Competition. During law school, Dustin was a member of the National Order of Scribes, Salmon P. Chase Inn of Court, and Phi Alpha Delta. He received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest grade in Employment Discrimination and the American Bar Association Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law. Dustin gained litigation experience as a clerk at a personal injury law firm and through internships at the Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and at the Ohio Justice and Policy Center, where he litigated civil rights issues in the Constitutional Litigation Clinic. Prior to law school, Dustin obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Kentucky while working his way through college at the United Parcel Service. Dustin has been an associate at Flynt Law Office since 2009 where his practice has been primarily devoted to personal injury and wrongful death litigation, as well as social security disability/SSI practice. Dustin has worked his entire career as a plaintiffs’ attorney, fighting for individuals who have been injured, harmed or wronged by the conduct of businesses, insurance companies, or other individuals. In addition to personal injury litigation, he also handles insurance disputes, products liability, workers compensation, medical negligence and malpractice, criminal defense, family law, divorce, child custody, wrongful terminations, employment discrimination, civil rights violations, prisoner rights violations, and administrative appeals with the Kentucky Personnel Board and Department of Education.
